conger Posted October 10, 2016 Share #1 Posted October 10, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Greetings SL Forum members, I am contemplating getting an SL. I want to make exposures between 5 and 200 minutes. Can I do this with the SL?... or is the limit capped at 60 mins, and that at only selected ISO values? If time capping applies, then why? Is the BULB setting a 'true' BULB setting... where the shutter stays open as long as the shutter button (or remote equivalent) is activated? Does the camera offer in-camera multiple exposures (exposure stacking)? Does the camera offer a programming interface (BASIC / PYTHON.... SDK... )? Does the shutter button offer a press-to-activate / press-to-deactivate function when BULB is configured? Can shutter press-to-activate / press-to-deactivate be done using the APP? Does the SL support in-camera battery charging? Many thanks, -g- PS... I like the tip in the manual... If the camera will be left unattended while taking an intervalpicture series, take precautions to ensure that it won't getstolen.

thighslapper Posted October 11, 2016 Share #3 Posted October 11, 2016 as the answer to most of your questions is 'no' I would suggest the SL is not suitable for your needs.
