mark_pw Posted October 10, 2016 Share #1 Posted October 10, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Taken by Carl Zeiss Biogon 21mm f4.5 on Leica M8. The color retention of CCD sensor is quite different from those advance CMOS models. Please check out my other photos at BigBigLens.com - Brick House. Robert M Poole Posted October 10, 2016 Share #2 Posted October 10, 2016 Lovely colours which work really well. If I was to offer some critique (please feel free to tell me where to stick it!) I find the choice of DoF uncomfortable on the eye. The door is out of focus but not enough for it to not be a distraction. I would have probably either gone wider to completely blur the background or stopped down to have it in focus. I hope you don't mind me sticking my oar in! Yes, the flower could stand out more if the aperture could be larger. Or, the background could be clearer if I used a smaller aperture. I just hit the middle.
