RennSportNY@gmail.com Posted October 8, 2016 Share #1 Â Posted October 8, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Update - Solved both issues by adding the letter "v" onto the downloaded file name. Â Leica needs to update the file on their website!!! Â Â Hi All, Â Hoping someone can help me here... Â I have two Leica T both on firmware 1.1 Â First, I can't seem to update either cameras with firmware 1.5. I have followed the direction to the "T" and tried it multiple times. It simply won't show the firmware update screen. Â Second, none of the lens that I have seems to be work on either camera. I have the 35mm f/1.4 TL and the 11 - 23 Elmar-T "kit" lens. It simply shows a blank screen with "F0.0" on the upper right hand side. Â Any advice on either one? Â

Einst_Stein Posted October 10, 2016 Share #2  Posted October 10, 2016 Sorry, I can;t help, you, because I have exactly the same problem. I got the help from a local store at Palo Alto, but even the Leica expert here can't not solve the problem. I did these: -- fully charged the battery -- format the SD card (32GB) -- download the firmware (given by the store) and put it at the top level folder. -- push the feed-doit button (the video button), hold it then switch on the camera. -- wait, and wait, and wait....  I ended up send the camera back to the B&H for an exchange.  The suspects are:  -- The battery is damaged, can not show fully charged to the camera. -- The SD card is not compatible.-- The camera body -- The lens (18-55mm) (damaged or dirty contacts).  I will see how it goes once I get the replacement.
