In either case it's easily corrected of course. L1003408.jpg Excellent example of that phenomenon, Alan. But what immediately catches my eye is the images's lovey color rendition and broad tonal footprint. Perhaps incorporating not all the Zones, but pretty damn close. The way the camera presents it (or by your hand) is a subtle form of vignetting that seems not so much applied on top of, but more an emanation from the image components. To my eye, this image is a splendid study in chiaroscuro revealing elegant, seamless transitions from light to dark, both vertically and horizontally..
