cme4brain Posted June 13, 2007 Share #21 Posted June 13, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi Lloyd, If you get a chance, post a corner crop from a 100% file made at F/4 with that lens at about 3 - 5 feet from the subject. Maybe you got an especially good one. Cheers, Sean Hey there Sean, keep the great articles coming. Here are absolutely horrible shots with the CV 21mm Skopar, f/4, subject distance 4-7 feet, ISO 160 or 320, coded, IR-cut filter in place. I have included a 100% crop of the right corner region of each thumbnail. It is possible that the M8 is not perfectly flat to the subject, and this is not the ideal test bed that you have for lens testing. I did not bracket focus these shots in my haste to put them up on the web. Welcome, dear visitor! cme4brain Posted June 14, 2007 Share #23 Posted June 14, 2007 Hi Lloyd, Thanks. If you get a chance to e-mail me sometime, I'd love to get a couple full-size JPEGs from you. Details by e-mail. Cheers, Sean I will do so, and will send better subjects for testing (subject plane parallel to the camera, with enough detail to check for softening).
