Helmut99 Posted September 10, 2016 Share #1 Posted September 10, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Probably not the best place to ask the question but maybe some SL users have encountered a similar issue. I'm a big fan of watching photos on large screen TVs and before 4k arrived I've been using AppleTVs to stream photos to HD TVs. I bought an 85" 4k TV (JVC) a while ago which unfortunately doesn't support any "4k" picture viewing except when using a USB stick. Network speed is not the issue, the TV is hooked up through Ethernet. It's a JVC software limitation that prevents me from accessing a network hard drive. There's no 4k AppleTV yet so I searched the internet for a streaming device with 4k static picture support, thought Roku could do it but they don't support Ultra high res static picture streaming either. Is there anyone who has been trying the same thing and found a solution? Thanks - Helmut

peterv Posted September 13, 2016 Share #2 Posted September 13, 2016 Maybe you could see if any of the UHD 4K blu-ray players from Panasonic (2) Samsung or Philips can do what you need?
