I love the fog in the second ...it works against the details too much for my taste in the third

a bit of perspective correction in post might improve the second, but then again would cut out some of that lovely fog on the left

what is the name of this monastery?

I tried to make out the sign in the first & sadly I could not find a larger version in the link you provided, though I was treated to seeing of your other sweet photographs

Arthur, monastery's name is Montesenario, on a mountain top close to Firenze. A place I love. Yes, fog seems to add something special, at least in my mind. :-)

Link of mine drive through some personal pictures, some of them with Marina, my daughter. She too likes shot photo and... I am proud of it :-)

Hi Marcos,

thanks for your comment. Buildings in the second picture are actually interesting. I shot them from different perspectives: highness, kind of wall/rocks, reciprocal positions, are important points. I think that geographical site (around 815 meters on the sea level) add something special too (wind, fog...).
