Lenter Posted August 4, 2016 Share #1 Posted August 4, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi , can anyone help me with the following problem . I'm in N Korea , I have an SL with three batteries but lost my charger. Does anyone know of any way to charge the battery packs with , for example, an adapter of another electrical device? If that could then what should be the capacity of the charger. I imagine that I have the two wires on the plus and minus of the battery slice . I 'm not in the gekegenheid they all find out . Merci Erdna

ramarren Posted August 4, 2016 Share #2 Posted August 4, 2016 Lithium-Ion batteries don't take kindly to charging voltage that is not properly regulated, so whatever you use to charge your batteries has to have a proper charging circuit in it. In other threads, a couple of chargers have been suggested for travel purposes, like the Hähnel Unipal Plus" but i suspect you're going to have nearly as much trouble getting one of those as you would getting a Leica charger. Tough spot, sorry to say.

mikemgb Posted August 5, 2016 Share #5 Posted August 5, 2016 I have to ask, are the authorities going to allow you to use your camera anyway? In North Korea one battery will probably be plenty for what they will allow you to photograph.
