Advertisement Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 Hi Lee Martin, Take a look here How long before we see this with a red dot ?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
dhsimmonds Posted July 4, 2016 Share #2 Posted July 4, 2016 What makes you think that it's a Panasonic? The lens markings just tell us that it is a fairly slow zoom lens from a camera they call the "Segment". It is from a design agency based in London but only contactable by email?? It is a lovely clean design but that is all we have to identify this machine.
Lee Martin Posted July 4, 2016 Author Share #3 Posted July 4, 2016 The design of the front lens barrel, the switches and dials, and whilst not exclusive the G Vario designation too. Let's face it, after the XU they should be going out of house for design . They have a postal address in London from what I saw at the bottom of their page unless I misread it ? It also states it's been designed for a client (anon) if you watch the video, the interface is very well thought through , and doesn't have the appearance of being low budget
dhsimmonds Posted July 4, 2016 Share #4 Posted July 4, 2016 Leica have a retail shop ("boutique"!) and photographic studio/academy in Mayfair, London. It is a very slow lens by modern standards and by Leica I would have thought, but who knows?
