microview Posted June 27, 2016 Share #1 Posted June 27, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) I think that one Q review said that if you set the crop mode to 35mm you can nevertheless see/use the complete 28mm fov in LR. But this seems not to be the case. Crop in camera and it's the reduced fov only! Am I wrong?
Advertisement Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 Hi microview, Take a look here 35mm crop. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Voxen Posted June 27, 2016 Share #2 Posted June 27, 2016 Definitive crop only apply to JPEG. The DNG file is not (and could never be) cropped.
microview Posted June 27, 2016 Author Share #3 Posted June 27, 2016 Thanks. Yes, I see it now, DNG is uncropped but in LR>crop tool> it shows 35mm crop area which you can move around within complete DNG image for selective '35mm' reduction. 'Done' gives cropped image for Export.
