Firstly to protect the front element when in use but also the added comfort/stability in the hand when using. Is there any product that uses the outer thread - protected by the removable lens ring? I have an oriental (eBay) metal hood that screws on to the filter thread bit it looks a bit ugly! Your help and advice much appreciated. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
