MT0227 Posted June 25, 2016 Share #21 Â Posted June 25, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) 35Lux FLE.....just do it and be done with it, you won't regret it a bit. Â I would agree with Mike, 28mm is your next option but the frame lines more of less boarder the edge of the viewfinder; the 35 gives you space to see outside the frame lines. Â If you wear glasses, you will be able to see the 35 frame lines, not so much with the 28. Â Happy shopping!

Herr Barnack Posted June 26, 2016 Share #22 Â Posted June 26, 2016 Maybe an M4-P with a 28/2.8 ASPH?
mikemgb Posted June 27, 2016 Author Share #23 Â Posted June 27, 2016 Maybe an M4-P with a 28/2.8 ASPH? Â I'd prefer 2.0 or better, I'm probably going to put a red filter on it so the wider the better. Â Although I may just have found a IIIa with a 50/2.0 that I can't turn down....... steppenw0lf Posted June 27, 2016 Share #24  Posted June 27, 2016 35 Summicron-Asph. for sure. It's a terrific lens for travel, people (environmental portraits), and landscapes. I prefer the Summicron-M 35mm (version iV)  (directly before the asph) . It is tiny and a bit old-fashioned (a classic). IQ is still excellent, and if I really think it is not good enough then I take the Elmarit-M 28 . I have plenty of ISO (1600, 3200 or rarely 6400) and do not care for top aperture in the WAs (using M246 and SL). Welcome, dear visitor!
