matlep Posted June 20, 2016 Share #1 Posted June 20, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Posted this in another thread but I found it might get lost in the fuzz. So I found out you can get manual control over exposure when filming with the Q if you use the Q-app. Total news to me, did everyone else already know about this? Advertisement Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 Hi matlep, Take a look here Manual video controls!. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
martenw Posted December 22, 2016 Share #2 Posted December 22, 2016 to me it looks like the camera makes autociorrections even if the numbers in the app doesnt change. It seems to raise Iso and lower shutterspeed even if it doesnt show in the app?? Does anyone have more experience in doing videos? Especially troublesome indoors to not have full control over shutterspeed.
matlep Posted December 23, 2016 Author Share #3 Posted December 23, 2016 That is weird. I had not realised the the video function had changed with the 2.0 FW update. Before, on the old version there was manual control in the app. That is now gone. So strange. It does not matter if you are in S, A, or M. The camera still exposes as it want. Whats the point of having a manual setting if it does not work? Bad move Leica....
