Left Eye Shooter, Glass wearer

Does the EVF of the Leica Q pose a problem for left eye shooters/glasses wearers?  I mainly use a Leica MP, with 50 Lux and 35 cron.  While I can see the 35mm frame lines, I have some difficulty seeing the entire viewfinder.  I am thinking of getting the Q as a travel camera (and will also be my foray into digital).  Given the low supply, I may have to get the Q prior to trying it out.

Thanks for any information you can send my way.

I, too, am a left eye shooter.

I generally don't have a problem with the EVF which I always use for normal use. My major gripe as a left eye user is the weird implementation of using the button for AEL. This means that the button must be held in to lock (it isn't an on/off toggle) and with my eye to the EVF there isn't room for my thumb on the button. I've given up on AEL, which is a shame.

But otherwise the EVF is great. I wear glasses, which can make a difference, but I sometimes look over the glasses to get my eye closer to the viewfinder. You really need to try one out to see if it is comfortable - only you can tell.

Great camera.

I'm also a left eye shooter with glasses, and have been using film Leicas (M2R, M4) and the digitals (M8, M9), and now the Q over the last 40 years. With the M cameras, if the bright lines for a lens were way out at the edges, it could be hard to see them, but you pretty quickly get to know where they are. I've found the same thing with the Q - I can see all of the frame, including the info. It also will depend on how far away the glasses perch on your face, so YMMV
