Steve, may I offer a criticism (of the constructive kind) on your two pics. They seem too pale to me in that the highlights are very pale. With the umbrella man I realize it may be intentional to simplify the background and maybe show more detail under the brolly.

On the sitting/standing pic, I feel the highlights if brought back by reducing the exposure would give more 'meat' to the image. Just a POV.

Thanks Erl I will give it a shot. The first I did brighten as you mentioned. Probably too bright given it was a rainy day. Thanks again
