BigBabyEarl Posted June 3, 2016 Share #1 Posted June 3, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Ok. I know this sounds ridiculous. If given the choice would you take a black paint MP3 set or the M7 Hermes set in orange? It sound ludicrous since they both are valuable collector sets, but I actually use it my gear. spydrxx Posted June 4, 2016 Share #2 Posted June 4, 2016 That's sort of like asking whether I'd choose my refined, beautiful, but aging wife, or a much younger redhead screaming for attention . In all seriousness, I would answer the question by asking whether color matters in the work you do, and what is the cosmetic and mechanical condition of each body. If in good condition, both can do the job well.
BerndReini Posted June 5, 2016 Share #3 Posted June 5, 2016 MP3 set, no doubt. The black paint and the design is classic and timeless. Shoot it until the brass shows. M7 Titanium is nice as well, but let me leave you with a quote from Pliny the Younger I have recently come across: "An object in possession seldom retains the same charm that it had in pursuit." Joshua Lowe Posted June 8, 2016 Share #5 Posted June 8, 2016 Black paint MP3. I have no interest in the M7 Hermes beyond liking the color of the wrap.
