If you're going to use it with an IR-cut filter, either code it or use Sandy's CornerFix program. Cheers, Sean

wmspa Posted June 6, 2007 Share #5 Posted June 6, 2007 ok thanks everyonelooking forward to it i will try buy some filters i guess i can use just the edges of the actual M8 viewfinder im not bothered on getting toally 100% EXACT framing I use the 21/2.8 asph with the Zeiss 25/28 finder. I think it's a pretty perfect combination. For pictures at infinity or long distance I use the 25 frame (it fits very precisely), otherwise the 28 frame. The lens blocks a significant portion of the M8 viewfinder and it's therefore much more fun to use the external finder. Just my point of view. carstenw Posted June 6, 2007 Share #6 Posted June 6, 2007 Note that wide open, this lens is meant to be a tiny bit soft in the extreme corners. Stop it down one or two stops, and it gets sharp. This isn't bad, it is just something to be prepared for.
