Advertisement Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 Hi Exodies, Take a look here Nikkor f.1.8 105mm Ais on M?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Guest JMF Posted May 26, 2016 Share #22  Posted May 26, 2016 I have the 105mm 2.5 Ai and it works very well. It is a super lens anyway and this comes through using it on an M body. The nearest comparison would be the 90mm Elmarit and it matches it in most respects except of course rangefinder focusing. If you have an EVF or use the camera on a tripod and can use Live View the price alone would make me choose the Nikkor along with a cheap Chinese adapter.    Steve  Steve, you're using the M 240 on a tripod? Just out of curiousity.  BTW I do have a 105 1.8 AIS which I tried on the M 240 . It is ok if you have time to shoot your subject for the reasons menos mentioned earlier answering the OP's question.  Cheers, JM.
Clactonian Posted May 26, 2016 Share #23 Â Posted May 26, 2016 I have an adaptor and can use a whole range of my Nikon glass on my M240 but frankly they just don't feel right to me seeming quite cumbersome despite more than acceptable results. They are a much more comfortable fit on my Nikons and I think that is where they will stay.
