hutchinson14 Posted April 30, 2016 Share #1 Posted April 30, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have just got my Leica M240 back from Leica in Germany after been away for warranty work. I mount my Leica Lenses on it and I get my frame lines in the viewfinder. When I mount my Voigtlander 50mm f1.1 part of the frame lines are missing and I get 28mm lens lines up as well. This also happens with my Voigtlander 75mm f2.5 lens and Konica 28mm f2.8 lens. I am sure before it went away they were there. Has this happened to anyone else? Is this a ploy by Leica to use only Leica Lenses on Leica cameras? I hope it does not have to go back to Leica.

hutchinson14 Posted April 30, 2016 Author Share #2 Posted April 30, 2016 I have had a look on a topic stuck frame lines. If I wiggle the lens I get the 50mm frame lines the wiggle the lens they go off. Also when I mount the 50mm f2 Leica lens the 75mm lens frame lines are not that clear ie some of the white or red led light is missing . Any answers? hutchinson14 Posted April 30, 2016 Author Share #3 Posted April 30, 2016 Update I have just checked again the Konica 28mm lens and that is ok.
hutchinson14 Posted April 30, 2016 Author Share #4 Posted April 30, 2016 Thought I would recheck the Voigtlander 50mm f1.1 on my Leica M4 film camera. It is perfect, the frame lines are clear, even if try to wriggle the lens. I have also checked it on my M3 no problem. So it seems it is the M240 camera and another trip back to Leica.
