dkCambridgeshire Posted April 5, 2016 Share #1 Posted April 5, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Prior to exposing individual images I have entered 'in-camera' short diary notes / words and data for individual images via the SL's 'Copyright' - 'Information' & 'Artist' menu facilities … expecting to be able view/retrieve same from the EXIF metadata during post processing. However, when interrogating metadata via PS Elements there is no copyright field / data record available. Can anyone advise if the data actually ends up in the metadata and if so where … and how can it subsequently be retrieved? Thanks dunk

AlanJW Posted April 5, 2016 Share #2 Posted April 5, 2016 It must be a PS Elements thing. In CC15, using bridge, this is what I see: Welcome, dear visitor! ramarren Posted April 5, 2016 Share #3 Posted April 5, 2016 I was always under the impression that PS Elements metadata did not work with IPTC standards, this seems to bear that out. The Artist and Copyright fields are visible and editable in Lightroom, and accessible via EXIFtool.
