Ranma13 Posted April 4, 2016 Share #1 Posted April 4, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello, my Leica SL had a mark on the sensor, so I sent it to New Jersey for repair, who forwarded it to Germany. I have a repair order number, but it doesn't look like there's any way of tracking the repair status. Anybody know if there's any way I can contact Leica Wetzlar (I'm assuming it was sent there) to get a repair status update?

ramarren Posted April 4, 2016 Share #2 Posted April 4, 2016 The only way to track repairs is by calling New Jersey and asking what the status is. If they've sent it to Wetzlar, they may or may not have access to immediate status information, but can usually get back to you with status within a day or two. helged Posted April 11, 2016 Share #6 Posted April 11, 2016 There is a link to track your repair. http://repair.leica-camera.com/service/repairtracking/ Just enter your repair number and you should have an update. This is a well-known link for some of us... And don't expect frequent updates. But at least you get a message when the gear is received and, after some weeks, returned from Wetzlar. From my experiences, expect 2-4 weeks repair time at Wetzlar. Including shipping and paper work in both ends, the whole procedure may take 6(+) weeks. There is also some express options, mainly for professionals, I guess. I have, by the way, been very satisfied with the repair, no problems there. pyp Posted August 25, 2016 Share #7 Posted August 25, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi guys, My SL froze itself during a wedding photoshoot and won't turn on no matter what solutions I try (never drop my SL). So I finally sent in my SL to New Jersey and get no response after all. After many attempts calling their office, I got to get my repair number and were told to wait 6-8 weeks. Now I am on my seventh week and tried the repair tracking link since my third week, and it just telling me that No repair order available...Just wonder if the link still work or it may mean they still haven't sent in my camera?
