Jim Whitham Posted June 4, 2007 Share #1 Â Posted June 4, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi Folks I've just used two new Sandisk media cards in my M8 and the results aren't showing up on the desktop when I try download to my Macbook. Also, the laptop isn't seeing the M8 when I plug it in directly. Any ideas on how to solve my problem please? Regards, Jim

wparsonsgisnet Posted June 4, 2007 Share #2 Â Posted June 4, 2007 check the other posts on this topic. You may: 1. have bogus cards 2, need a different card reader 3. have to reformat in the camera. Â Most who have had reading problems have solved it with something like the Sandisk Imagemate x-in-1 readers. these are usb-2 devices and very fast. Jim Whitham Posted June 4, 2007 Author Share #3 Â Posted June 4, 2007 Thanks for that feedback. The cards were formated and are full of pics so I'll try to get someone else to download and burn. My mac cannot see the M8 as a desktop icon, even though aperture tries to open the files? Do I need to get some software for the camera? I have Capture 1LE, CS3 and Raw develop, but nothing came with the camera??
wparsonsgisnet Posted June 4, 2007 Share #4 Â Posted June 4, 2007 I don't use my mac for this purpose, instead still using a windoze machine. Those who have complained have mostly been mac users. Â Try a new reader.
carstenw Posted June 4, 2007 Share #5  Posted June 4, 2007 Gee, my feeling was that most who have complained were Windows users  The readers are most often the problem. Try another reader.  Your cards aren't SDHC cards, are they?
