Getting re acquainted with film, Tri-X, scanned in the lab and some tweaking

Actually, I used colour slide for the most part and colour film when the kids grew up

(easier to make albums  :) )

 

I had used b&w film perhaps twice.

Stop using Tri-X before it's too late.............You'll never want to go back to digital conversions to B&W.

I'm trying to export my images for posting here and LR refuses to create a JPEG of 500Kb from my TIFF file. Original TIFF is 14 Mb

 

In the LR Export dialogue box 'Image Sizing' you need to resize so that the file size can be reduced sufficiently. I use 1024px (long side) for landscape and 950px for portrait (resolution 72px/inch).
