cliffp Posted February 27, 2016 Share #2 Posted February 27, 2016 The button in the middle of the joystick toggles it on and off. I had the same issue.

microview Posted February 27, 2016 Share #4 Posted February 27, 2016 I have it set for on all the time and don't find it distracting. But tilt the Q and with a 28mm lens those converging verticals will look awful. Welcome, dear visitor! katsanes Posted February 29, 2016 Share #5 Posted February 29, 2016 I haven't tried to figure it out, but is it possible to not lose the level once the shutter is half-pressed? I find that kind of annoying, but obviously not annoying enough to try and fix it!
mcausus Posted February 29, 2016 Share #6 Posted February 29, 2016 I haven't tried to figure it out, but is it possible to not lose the level once the shutter is half-pressed? I find that kind of annoying, but obviously not annoying enough to try and fix it! I also was wondering if the level works when looking straight up or down ... or does this traditionally not work, even for other cameras too?
microview Posted March 3, 2016 Share #7 Posted March 3, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) It does indeed work if you point the camera directly down to the floor.
mcausus Posted March 8, 2016 Share #8 Posted March 8, 2016 It does indeed work if you point the camera directly down to the floor. While I do see the level gauge when pointed straight up (or down), I cannot obtain 'green lock' (i.e., green lines (both long and/or short)) in any reasonable sense with the camera in this orientation. Can you or are others actually able to obtain 'green level' status while aiming straight up or down? Just trying to figure out if it's my camera, or if I've misunderstood something here ... Many thanks!
