The Ruby Throat is blurry......I think because her heart is beating so fast and she is actually vibrating........late evening, almost zero available light. When one shows up I swing the unit to the bird and focus the Televid..... viewing this focus adjustment through the LCD. The timer has been set to a two second delay to avoid shake. Many say to focus the Televid on the bird, then attach the adapter and camera........I don't really want to do this because it increases my stress level.....unless I have to for some proven scientific reason.
