Guest NEIL-D-WILLIAMS Posted February 22, 2016 Share #1 Posted February 22, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) It's a right pain in the butt having to keep going through the connection process every time your phone goes to sleep. Is there an easy way to connect??
Advertisement Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 Hi Guest NEIL-D-WILLIAMS, Take a look here How to stay connected to Q. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Herve5 Posted February 22, 2016 Share #2 Posted February 22, 2016 not a pertinent answer because I didn't try, but if you use the camera to create the wifi network, and register on it with the phone, when the phone wakes up doesn't it automatically reconnect? Now, this way potentially sucks more power from the Q if its network stays on by default... Remember, you bought two batteries, didn't you? ;-)

matlep Posted February 22, 2016 Share #4 Posted February 22, 2016 You don't have to go through the connection procedure every time. Scan the QR code once. After that just set the Q to Wlan mode and the phone should connect automatically. Unless you are connected to another WiFi of course.

soizic Posted February 24, 2016 Share #6 Posted February 24, 2016 On the Q, connect WLAN with option control (or transfer) On the iPhone, change your usual wifi with 'leica-Q", and wait a moment !
Iduna Posted February 26, 2016 Share #7 Posted February 26, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Neil, 1. switch on your camera. 2. Select the Leica Wi-Fi on your smartphone. 3. Go to the menue of your camera and select the Wifi or 4. Copy the offered QR code. 5. Connect per QR code then wait, because this process takes a moment or two. I noticed that this eventually has to be repeated. You can chose either connecting per QR code or, directly to the WLan net of the camera. Thes thing are sometimes tricky, but it works, definately.
