Herve5 Posted February 14, 2016 Share #1 Posted February 14, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Not that I installed it, but I read if you did, the last update seems to delete various unexpected things on your mac (!) : http://arstechnica.com/apple/2016/02/warning-bug-in-adobe-creative-cloud-deletes-mac-user-data-without-warning/ -to be frank, the fact the Adobe installer refuses to run if you don't grant it root access is an extreme concern for me. While I'm somehow sensitive to image process repeatability, I'm currently running 'free of Lightroom' with apps like Graphic Converter 9, RawTherapee and Darktable. (for GC and the Q use the last beta version)
Advertisement Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 Hi Herve5, Take a look here mac users : bug in Adobe Creative cloud. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
pop Posted February 14, 2016 Share #2 Posted February 14, 2016 That's been discussed in the German language part of our forum. The update removes the contents of the "first" directory in the root directory of the file system, the first being the one listed first when displaying the directories in ascending order. Usually, that would be an invisible directory. The cure would be to create a directory which comes before the first one. It appears that Adobe was made aware of the bug and fixed it by now. http://www.l-camera-forum.com/topic/256821-vorsicht-bei-neuem-adobe-update/
