you're right - it is just too soft.....

i really imagined otherwise - strong black and white - hard contrasts

Thanks for your interest. Yes, there is not enough contrast between those fabric sails and the sky. I am going to try to get back there this year and do a better job. The building is very photogenic. I was trying to capture the architect's intention to emulate the Palms with those tall structural columns, the essence of the building.

this photo's already been a great idea basically

the angle of view on the palm tree in conjunction with the ceiling construction is already a good start - so you realize your interest in the building

 

i wish you many more good viewing angles....... :)
