Advertisement Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 Hi rafalanus, Take a look here D-Lux Typ 109 - Wireless Flash Trigger Anyone?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
brentb Posted January 29, 2016 Share #2 Posted January 29, 2016 I have a pair of the Cactus V6 triggers, as well as their rf60 wireless flash. I bought them specifically because they are brand interchangeable. I am able to use my Canon 430 ex speedlight with the 109 using this setup, or their RF60 speedlight or both. The V6 runs about $100 CDN, the RF60 about $190. I can use the same equipment with my EOS 6D which was a deciding factor for the purchase. You of course need a flash, and two V6s, or one V6 and their rf60 flash. They have a laser trigger that will work with this as well. The only problem is it makes it a little difficult to reach the shutter speed dial, but not impossible. You lose TTL flash metering, but you can remotely set flash power in very small increments if desired. Happy with them, so far. There are reviews on YouTube. Good luck Brent
brentb Posted January 29, 2016 Share #3 Posted January 29, 2016 Just find a similar thread on the Leica Q section. Someone there is using Cactus with their Q which is good news if we ever want to upgrade to a Q. I believe the 109 is more of a Panasonic type flash setup than it is a Leica setup, so this is good news to see the Cactus work on that application as well. http://www.l-camera-forum.com/topic/250274-radio-trigger-for-the-q-any-users-have-experience/ Take care Brent
