I can remember scrambling to get the package ready to go to Dwayne's to meet their drop-dead date for Kodachrome processing. They were so inundated with raw film at the end that it took a couple of months for the slides to come back. Phil Coomes' "In Pictures" feature on the BBC News website is worth a daily check.
