Advertisement Posted December 14, 2020 Posted December 14, 2020 Hi Chaemono, Take a look here EVF brightness and contrast. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
tritentrue Posted December 14, 2020 Share #102 Posted December 14, 2020 This might help when shooting outdoors. It was mentioned here a few years back, and I've since used one on my SL, though not needed on the SL2.
P1505 Posted December 19, 2020 Share #103 Posted December 19, 2020 Anyone know of a similar product available in the UK?
ImmerDraussen Posted December 29, 2020 Share #104 Posted December 29, 2020 I visited my dealer today to upgrade to a SL2 or a SL2S. One of main reasons was to get a brighter EVF. I got heavily disappointed. There is no progress compared to the SL. Still it is difficult to see details in the shadows (even if the the brightness is set to maximum). Still it is not possible to switch of the exposure simulation off in PAS. The viewfinder in the the S1R is much brighter and good enough for outside shots. As much as I like the SL2, this is a deal breaker for me. So far I kept the money. Andreas
