Advertisement Posted May 30, 2007 Posted May 30, 2007 Hi krissheldon, Take a look here Lens Coding for 135 mm APO-TELYT. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Guest guy_mancuso Posted May 30, 2007 Share #2 Posted May 30, 2007 You can code it for the leica 135mm 2.8 but it will only serve you for EXIF data
krissheldon Posted May 30, 2007 Author Share #3 Posted May 30, 2007 Actually, what I wanted to say is what coding should I use in relation to frame lines? Thanks, Kris
Guest guy_mancuso Posted May 30, 2007 Share #4 Posted May 30, 2007 Well on the M8 the frames lines do not come up for the 135mm. What i did was sent my 135 apo in and had leica remove the 135mm mount and replace it with a 90mm mount so when the lens goes on the 90mm frame lines would appear. this gives me a guide to use with the 35mm lens and actually framing is between the foucsing patch and the 90 frame lines. It helps with composition than with that i had it code for 135mm but that only effects the EXIF data not the framelines
