Advertisement Posted May 30, 2007 Posted May 30, 2007 Hi tommycrown, Take a look here D-lux 3 Users. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
PVB Posted May 30, 2007 Share #2 Â Posted May 30, 2007 Nope, write speed is still 6 seconds between shots. It will transfer files to your computer faster via USB2 card reader.
hdg Posted May 30, 2007 Share #3 Â Posted May 30, 2007 But be careful to use a 4 GB SDHC card. Your D-Lux 3 will be o.k. but your computer probably will not accept this card (beacause of a new standard). In this way you must use an especial adaptor! tjphoto Posted May 30, 2007 Share #4 Â Posted May 30, 2007 Hmm, mine works fine with the sandisk 4mb SDHC. Wish the M8 would!
tommycrown Posted May 30, 2007 Author Share #5 Â Posted May 30, 2007 Thanks to all of you~ Â BTW, I thought the Sandisk 4gb SDHC comes with the adapter. Â I have mac mini intel core duo. Would it work? Â Tommy
hdg Posted May 30, 2007 Share #6 Â Posted May 30, 2007 Tim, the D-Lux 3 is not the problem. Â Tommy, correct. I have bought it and it has solved the computer-problem of my Notebook and my 64 bit desktop. Â Regards Hans
GreenSiAX Posted June 6, 2007 Share #7 Â Posted June 6, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi Folks, Â Doh! Just bought two 2Gb SanDisk Extreme III for my D-Lux-3. I use the CF version in my Canon D20 and they are soooo fast, however I can confirm that in a D-Lux-3 they are no faster than the supplied 64Mb SD card with RAW - 6 seconds to write. Â I did read on dpreview that the 4Gb Sandisk Extreme SDHC are significantly faster, as in 2-3 secs to write a RAW. However they need to get a little cheaper (in the UK) before I swap. Â Cheers, Â Alan
hdg Posted June 7, 2007 Share #8 Â Posted June 7, 2007 But think at it, the SDHC cards have another format! Â Regards Hans
