A thunderstorm was building over Berlin and the view from within the structure of the Memorial to the Murdered European Jews leant the right atmosphere to this challenging piece of sculpture. M8 CV 15

Thanks - it is a difficult subject to photograph well and I was pushed for time, both by impatient partner and imminent downpour. I think the vignetting of the CV 15 also lends to the sense of oppression and I was quite pleased that I was able to rescue the underexposed stones without affecting the cloud formation. It almost did not need a B&W conversion as the original colours are essentially monochrome.

Berlin One should be interesting as there is so much to experience in Berlin, choosing the "one" lens will be difficult.
