I see this the other way. My present skills outperform what the digital M proposes. I was constantly limited by the M8, M9, and shortly, the M10.

The fact that an M9 is enough for you tells me much moore about your skills.

I am happy using a primitive camera.

Show us how high tech elevates your work to superior outcomes.

NB23. You are way out of order. You have indulged in a personal attack which is not to be tolerated. This has been reffered to other mods pending further action, which may happen.

Your interaction with Pico is a disagreement which is fine, but personal abuse has no place here.

Be on notice!

Could it be, that the online infos about this collectors' item are purely informative and placed (also here) in order to preempt sellers' remorse, envy being regarded in those circles as a sincere compliment? Aren't there 1k serious collectors in the world, whose collections (=private museums) would be incomplete without this item?

imo it is very well possible, that LEICA has already sold 60-90% of this series.

A set being: an early one (these guys know each other: who has the earliest series number?!?) + a chrome one, and now one of these.

Life goes on while we talk the talk, deals are being closed (and photographs taken while we still have an unusually sunny autumn).

Yes, sellers' remorse: imo Leica could have sold 950 copies. This is no machine-rubbed digiLeica with two lenses in a Remova case.

This is a serious collectors' item, considering that a new Noct is imminent. So are regular ones NIB.

I pity poor Mr. Cartier-Bresson his M3, Although perhaps he could manage 8fps with a film M (is 4 fps even possible?).

Oh and don't forget Nick Ut, Ralph Gibson, Steve McCurry, Réne Burri. Or perhaps you pity the more contemporary Ian Berry, who has to suffer with the digital M system. They clearly all lack skill, since they use such poor tools.

Alas, poor Mr Adams, I think he was quoted as saying may be could switch plates on his view cameras in about 20-30 seconds. His skills were obviously not up to yours.

NB23, I'd love to see some of your work. It must be breathtaking.
