Agent M10 Posted November 7, 2015 Share #1 Â Posted November 7, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) I just picked up a D-Lux 109 and now am looking for a bag for it. I've added the grip so the bag needs to accommodate the camera with that on it. I work in a suit downtown so I need something discreet and in leather. I'd like it to be small, but big enough to also hold a phone, pen, and small pad or even an iPad. Great little camera, by the way.
Advertisement Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Hi Agent M10, Take a look here Best Bag for D-Lux 109?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jgmb Posted November 12, 2015 Share #2  Posted November 12, 2015 You might check out this bag made by Artisan & Artist:  http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1098908-REG/artisan_artist_aarr4_05cblk_rr4_05c_camera_messenger_bag.html  It is not fully leather, but looks professional enough to work with a suit and holds an iPad. Very pricey, however.
Agent M10 Posted November 13, 2015 Author Share #3  Posted November 13, 2015 You might check out this bag made by Artisan & Artist:  http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1098908-REG/artisan_artist_aarr4_05cblk_rr4_05c_camera_messenger_bag.html  It is not fully leather, but looks professional enough to work with a suit and holds an iPad. Very pricey, however. I appreciate the suggestion. The problem with it, and virtually all the other bags is it is designed primarily as a camera bag. It reserves all its space for a camera, something like an M and two lenses. Why can't anyone design a bag for business that allows you to take something like a D-Lux along? I have a Marshall Bergman bag that is perfect for work, but it lacks about an inch of width to bring the D-Lux with me.
jgmb Posted November 14, 2015 Share #4 Â Posted November 14, 2015 Yes, Artisan & Artist are specifically designed for cameras. Have you considered TUMI? They have several leather briefcases and totes that look big enough for the 109 and an iPad.
Le Chef Posted November 14, 2015 Share #5 Â Posted November 14, 2015 I have an Ona Prince Street bag in leather than has removable soft sections - so iPad, phone and camera will all fit easily. Reconfigure when you want to carry something else. And the leather should age beautifully.

ellz90 Posted November 16, 2015 Share #7 Â Posted November 16, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Had the same issue when I got mine and i ended up picking one from Crumpler. Very nicely made, a big variety to choose from and some can be quite fashion looking (they have leather version). There are also soft removable parts inside, at least in mine. Check it out, i love it

Agent M10 Posted November 19, 2015 Author Share #11 Â Posted November 19, 2015 Thanks for the suggestions, but still haven't found anything that checks the box. I might end up buying one of those ever ready cases and strap it on to my Marshall Bergman. Funny how there are so many choices of bags and each has its own pitfalls.
