elansprint72 Posted May 29, 2007 Share #4 Posted May 29, 2007 TYA- Leo Lyons; fastest guitar picker I ever saw Procol Harum- disappointing stage show; not quite a one-trick pony, but close. Donovan- can't remember, Officer..............
lightpainter Posted June 1, 2007 Share #5 Posted June 1, 2007 wasn't that Alvin Lee? I think Leo played bass. Anyway, a fantastic band, I still remember Alvin's special Gibson ES 335 with the disarmament sign on it.
biglouis Posted June 1, 2007 Share #6 Posted June 1, 2007 David That is a great picture... and I know from experience how difficult it can be to capture the contrast necessary to make the whites look interesting (I tried to shoot the same type of flower several times last year with my D-LUX 2 and always blew the highlights). As for TYA, Alvin Lee's performance is for me one of the highlights of the film. Worth googling him and looking at his biog. LouisB

squiff Posted June 1, 2007 Share #8 Posted June 1, 2007 very vibrant image. I particularly like the way the light doesnt fall off, and the flowers way in the back are still clear. it seems almost surreal, or studio created! s
