Artichoke Posted May 28, 2007 Share #1 Posted May 28, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) I got this artichoke plant last year at a butterfly plant sale and it really took off this spring this is the first of seven bulbs on the plant [ATTACH]39342[/ATTACH] I was amazed to see the flower a few days later [ATTACH]39343[/ATTACH] and our abundant rains alternating with strong Texas sun has fostered a continuously more extravagent display [ATTACH]39344[/ATTACH] so far the butterflies seem more interested in our lantana, but this plant has been very rewarding and a revealation for me ...I had only seen artichokes in the market and never seen a crown like this all these were taken using the 65 Elmar with the M8 and Viso larger versions and shooting information can be found here Not Orchids Photo Gallery by Artichoke Vinagrette at pbase.com comments always welcome Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
