Guys

I have just taken delivery of a new Eizo Coloredge CG277 Monitor and have set it up as a second monitor alongside my original Apple 27" monitor.

I followed the instructions that came with the monitor and just let it do its own calibration and the way it did that I ended up with these numbers (That mean nothing to me)

Gamut.......Monitor Native

Brightness .....80

whitepoint ......6500

Black level 0.2

White 2.2

Priority ......Standard

I have this slight yellow tint.........see attached

As we can't see the image on your monitor, we can't see the tint, either, yellowish or otherwise. I'd think that reducing the whitepoint from 6500 might change things a bit.

Cheers Phil let me see if I can find where to do that first, and I will get back to you

Regardless of how I feel about this guy....he walks you through the initial calibration...

Your initial setup is a bit warm because your monitor is trying to show you exactly how your photo would look printed on paper. Since most papers are slightly warm. All you have to do is adjust the white balance a bit. I have made a few different profiles for my Eizo.

Printing on Paper, Photos for Web, Etc.

Neil you may find this article and a lot of the other content useful. This is the company with whom I have dealt for some years. Jeremy is very knowledgeable.
