likealot Posted October 23, 2015 Share #21 Posted October 23, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Personally I hope Leica will bring out a Q with a different lens such as a 35mm on with 50mm and 75mm crops. Most importantly I hope that Leica will bring out a weather sealed Q.
Advertisement Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 Hi likealot, Take a look here Who wants an Interchangeable Lens AF Q camera?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Lucky Posted October 24, 2015 Share #22 Posted October 24, 2015 Same here.. I'd keep the 28 and add the 50. Perfect I would do exactly the same thing, there is an emty compartment in my bag waiting for the 50 or 55mm Q....
mehtasunil Posted October 24, 2015 Share #23 Posted October 24, 2015 my wish is really simple... Leica Q with 50mm Summilux. Thats it... My too...waiting for something like this...
Peter H Posted October 24, 2015 Share #24 Posted October 24, 2015 Interesting. Why not? (serious question). Well, perhaps not just as described, but why is the Q compact but the SL isn't? I'm sure there are compelling reasons that will shut us up, but it is a real shame. We all know that an interchangeable-lens Q system would be a real winner. If only the impossible weren't so awkward.

Actually, I am wondering if Leica will do what Fuji did for their X-100 series, by introducing tele-converter lens to covert 28mm to 35mm, 50mm, etc
gdipaola Posted October 25, 2015 Share #27 Posted October 25, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) I would like a Q with a TRI-ELMAR, perhaps 35-50-75mm, or even just a "BI-ELMAR" 50-75mm as the 28mm Q is already covering the wide side. As an alternative, a fixed focal 50 or 75mm would be fine. No interchangeable lenses if that means getting as big as the SL..
-Lss- Posted October 25, 2015 Share #28 Posted October 25, 2015 No interchangeable lenses if that means getting as big as the SL.. It doesn't. Such solution would probably be a little larger than the Q, but not significantly larger. It is important to understand that the design goals for the two cameras, Q and SL, were simply very different. And I'm not at all surprised if I'm told that the SL project begun first. I actually assume it did. As a customer, an SL Lite that is closer to Q would make a lot of sense. It is not realistic to expect seeing one anytime soon, though. reynoldsyoung Posted October 25, 2015 Share #29 Posted October 25, 2015 No interchangeable lenses if that means getting as big as the SL.. Couldn't agree more! "Beast" cameras are not for me. A Q with 50mm 1.4.....yes!!

cafecacao Posted October 27, 2015 Share #33 Posted October 27, 2015 hahhaha you are too greedy, last sunday i have photo trip, i think i still like 28mm on the Q. you should try to find out good things with 28mm in your pics accordingly. i think Leica experts are very excellent when put 28mm on the Q. I do not see any Q getting bloated like the SL.
