erlingmm Posted October 5, 2015 Share #1 Posted October 5, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) So annoyed at Adobe trying to force me into CC versions. I have standalone LR version from Leica license, but when I try to update, I am forced into CC, I cannot find a standalone update. I hate the way Adobe treats me! Any guidance? Advertisement Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Hi erlingmm, Take a look here New LR update with S007 and several M lenses - how to update?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Chuck Albertson Posted October 5, 2015 Share #2 Posted October 5, 2015 You might want to wait a bit: http://laurashoe.com/2015/10/05/adobe-releases-lightroom-cc-2015-2-lightroom-6-2-with-redesigned-import-process/
Jeff S Posted October 5, 2015 Share #3 Posted October 5, 2015 Recently discussed here... http://www.l-camera-forum.com/topic/250804-problems-with-redeeming-leica-license-for-lightroom-6/ Easiest to just call Adobe customer service and have them email you a download. Otherwise, you'll eventually figure out the site....once you find the standalone version, you need to hit the buy button to see the upgrade option. Adobe is getting more and more devious....see linked remarks. Jeff
Jeff S Posted October 5, 2015 Share #4 Posted October 5, 2015 In my above post, I assumed you were referring to upgrading from LR 5 to LR 6. If, however, you're referring to going from LR 6 to LR 6.2, I assume there will be a pop-up box when one opens LR, as in the past. I'm going to wait to install 6.2 until the dust settles, based on some preliminary concerns I've read online (I don't have the 007, so it's not a big deal for me). erlingmm Posted October 6, 2015 Author Share #5 Posted October 6, 2015 So I see de-haze is now included in the new version of Adobe Elements. But not in the standalone version of LR. What a crap of a company.
