R lenses on T: best adapters?

Hello,

Has anyone tried the Novoflex T to R adapter?  Or does the Leica T to M, M to R two adapter solution offer any advantages?

I already have the T to M adapter, but the price difference between the Novo T to R and the Leica M to R is not worth worrying about.

If I could benefit from using the R lenses on my digital M, I wouldn't need to post.  Getting that adapter would be the obvious solution.  However I have no digital M, and am not likely to acquire one.  So my question is again: are there any performance advantages to one solution over the other?

Thanks,

Brent

I use the Leica R to M adapter along with the Leica M to T adapter.  I also have a Novoflex R to M adapter, but the Leica one is better due to having absolutely zero rotational play.  The weak link in either configuration, in evidence to my observation with lenses heavier than 1 kg, is the T mount.

I tried adjusting the kerfs, but they seemed to be too flimsy to hold the adjustment.
