Manolo Laguillo Posted September 23, 2015 Author Share #21 Posted September 23, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Regarding the S VF: 1. I remember very well the first time I looked at the image on the ground glass of my view camera after fitting on it a fresnel lens, that I bought as an accessory! For years I had been with a plain ground glass, and it worked. But with the nice fresnel lens it was a different thing, brighter, contrastier, with the details popping out. With the S VF it's more or less the same. 2. It's very important how we control and manage the framing and composing of our photographies. The image border is vital, that limit between what's inside and outside the picture. The M optical VF does not cover 100% of the picture, something we can manage with practice. The world becomes clear and transparent looking through that window. The EVF does cover 100% of the picture, but the world loses that transparency. The S reflex VF does cover 98% of the picture. The world becomes clear and transparent again!

Manolo Laguillo Posted October 12, 2015 Author Share #23 Posted October 12, 2015 I'll take the risk of being repetitive: THIS CAMERA IS AMAZING!!! I'm experiencing the same level of discovery, excitement and joy I did have years ago with the M8. With the M9 and M240 it did not occur with that intensity. Now it is happening again, this sense of re-discovering the world. ... With the MM it was nearly the same... I'm looking forward to the MM246.
