Big T Posted September 13, 2015 Share #1 Posted September 13, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) I just received my Q last week and it shows Version 1.0. In Capture One Pro V8 it shows in the meta data that the firmware is version 1.03. Interested to see what you others find in your software programs meta data. Msohio Posted September 13, 2015 Share #3 Posted September 13, 2015 I too have a Q that has Firmware 1.00. I do not see any download on Leica's site that shows version 1.03. How does one download it so I can transfer it to a card and insatll it?? Thanks in advnace for your assistance. My first Leica so I may be looking in the wrong place on the site. My camera show "firmware version as 1.0" in the Menu.
piran Posted September 13, 2015 Share #4 Posted September 13, 2015 One decimal place... so the camera menu is not lying per se. Check for the 'version' in your operational software's parsings. Camera says 1.0 (one decimal place) but software shows with more decimals places and says 1.03. No big thing really. YMMV
barjohn Posted September 13, 2015 Share #5 Posted September 13, 2015 Version 1.00 is what it shows in camera and version 1.03 is what it shows in the EXIF data.
Msohio Posted September 13, 2015 Share #6 Posted September 13, 2015 Well I'll be danged. There it is in LR6: 1.03. Many thanks. Side comment, having done business with Germans for decades this is the very first time I can recall they understated precision. I would have expected overkill precision, like 1.0300. -
piran Posted September 13, 2015 Share #7 Posted September 13, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) ...next firmware revision will probably include an increased precision firmware version display? They can get away with this inaccuracy at launch but the understatement is now public.
