jbridd Posted September 7, 2015 Share #1 Posted September 7, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Can any one who has the holster let me know if it would be suitable to use when riding a bike, or would the camera hang to low and bang on my knees? Advertisement Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Hi jbridd, Take a look here Leica Q holster. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
barjohn Posted September 7, 2015 Share #2 Posted September 7, 2015 It is fully adjustable from below the waist to up high on your chest. The snap keeps the camera held into the holster. Wear it like a mafioso or like a gun slinger.
johnloumiles Posted September 8, 2015 Share #3 Posted September 8, 2015 It's probably better then a strap be cause it won't swing so much but you might want to reinforce the button that secures the strap with a second locking mechanism because it's not very sturdy.its just a simple push button that's fine for walking around but after testing it out in the store I could see it coming undone from the back and forth motion of cycling. barjohn Posted September 10, 2015 Share #5 Posted September 10, 2015 The camera really doesn't put much pressure on the retainer strap and snap unless you hold it upside down. The camera sit securely but without the strap can slide out if you lean forward far enough. I have never had the strap come lose on its own but then I haven't tried it riding a bike either.
