How do you cary your S?

I hate the OEM S strap (and any spongy straps for that matter).

I never liked hand straps (as they usually don't allow to throw the camera quick over a shoulder if you need two hands free).

 

… soo … the S with lenses is on the heavy SLR side: a wide strap is more comfortable.

 

Let me introduce you to the best strap I have found so far for heavy SLRs:

This does look weird on pictures - you have to feel them (very, very soft material, perfect rubberized shoulder patch to never loose traction).

These are my absolute favorite straps since I got a few for my Nikon bodies.

 

The Nikon label is stitched and I even went through the pains of removing it on one strap to be a bit less loud - I wouldn't do it again (you need to open the strap and remove the machine stitching from inside and restitch the seal).

Yes, I know - it seems often impossible to accept something reasonably priced to touch a piece of holy Wetzlar gear ;-)

The funny thing is though - these classic Nikon straps (this is actually THE classic Nikon strap) are so well made.

Nikon sold these since the introduction of the Nikon F3 and ships them as the highest grade strap together with their Pro bodies ever since.

 

Apart from the loud color they are simply fantastic. I do have a collection of the thin Nikon straps as well (AN-4B if I remember the name correctly) - these are great but I do prefer the slim OEM Leica strap with quick release on small cameras instead.

 

Do they come in Pink

You can get this one in burgundy or Nikon yellow - take your pick.

 

For the one I put on the S2 I went through grueling 3 hours of removing the machine stitched Nikon logo - I wouldn't do this again.

i love my stock strap. Don't see the need to change it for that horrendous looking Nikon thingie
