The diameter of the lens appears to be 41mm and was just wondering if you, guys, know if there is an adapter for E39 mm UV/IR filters. Thanks very much for your help. stunsworth Posted May 23, 2007 Share #2 Posted May 23, 2007 Stephane, that's the old pre-aspherical Summilux. The filters don't screw diredtly into the lens. The lens hood unscrews into two pieces and the filter fits between the two. You need what is know as a 'Series VII' filter. Foto Huppert in Germany - Willkommen bei Foto Huppert - can order these from B+W, I don't believe they are normally held in stock. To be honest I think you'll probably be ok with just a filter as it's the shortest focal lengths that are affected by the 'cyan drift'. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

khk Posted May 23, 2007 Share #6 Posted May 23, 2007 If you can unscrew the bajonet flange (only the three screws of the bajonet itself; I myself loosened two others, too much, I must send the lens to the CS at last), you can send it to John Milich (jm@milich.com).
