For this I actually used the iPhone app to control the camera which was hung round my neck so I could just stand there looking at my phone. Worked surprisingly well. erl Posted August 11, 2015 Share #3 Posted August 11, 2015 Viramati, you have beautifully captured a 'timeless' but I suspect, disappearing class of hairdresser. The location, and your composition of it, are impeccable and historically valuable. I am sure it was not necessary to use the phone app in this instance, but I assume you were testing the app. I can imagine moments in my life when that would be valuable. A geat pic. viramati Posted August 11, 2015 Author Share #4 Posted August 11, 2015 Thanks Paul and Erl. The shot could probably have been taken without the App and in fact I did take couple just using the EVF but I thought I try it out on the street. I think the app is remarkably well implemented and once set up very quick to turn on an can be used as a sort of waist level viewfinder when you wan to get the camera lower and don't have the benefit of a tilting LCD.
