Ai_Print Posted August 6, 2015 Share #21 Posted August 6, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) A word on canned air, I was just reading the instructions for a Hasselblad CFV50c digital back and came across the following: "In most cases, the careful use of compressed air will be adequate though if you use canned compressed air, read the instructions very carefully before use to avoid spraying impurities or even ice on the filter! So I pretty much stand by what I said above in terms of using it in common sense fashion...:-)
Advertisement Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Hi Ai_Print, Take a look here New M-P, already dusty :-(. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
kdriceman Posted August 11, 2015 Share #22 Posted August 11, 2015 If you are not careful using canned air, it will freeze and crack your sensor cover glass. Under no circumstances should you use the canned air inverted and keep plenty of distance from your sensor. It is actually a quite blunt instrument to use to clean a sensor with very little to gain over a bulb blower.
