dkCambridgeshire Posted July 24, 2015 Share #1 Posted July 24, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) I need a 60mm or 70mm (ish) T macro lens. It's the one lens that any ICL camera requires to 'complete' the system so surely Leica have considered same and have one in the pipeline? I have a project which could use the lens NOW … not next year. I want to use the T remotely via my iPad and with a Hague remotely controlled pan and tilt power head so can photograph e.g. the wasps nest in my garden at close quarters. I could try with a T zoom lens fitted with c/u lenses but a dedicated macro lens would be a much better tool. I only have the 23mm T which is not suitable for the project. I do not want to buy a T zoom as have more use for a dedicated T macro lens. i could use my 60mm R or 100mm R lenses but then would risk being stung by the wasps. So frustrating when a potential photo cannot be taken for want of the one lens which most other manufacturers would include with their system cameras at a much earlier stage. And the lens would be fine for portraiture too. The M system has a macro lens; the S system has a macro lens. A 'T' macro lens would probably sell in greater numbers … it's essential and overdue!! dunk
